TERMS AND CONDITIONS & CANCELLATION POLICY

Event: From the Fire to the Feet: India Pilgrimage 2026 Dates: March 1st – March 16th, 2026

 

By booking a spot on this pilgrimage, you (the "Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by Anamaria Betay alias Swamini Godaavari from Ananda International Services (the "Organizer").

1. REGISTRATION & PAYMENTS

Deposit: To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of €597 is required. This deposit is used immediately to secure accommodation and venue advances.

Balance Payment: The remaining balance of the trip cost is due by February 1st, 2026.

Late Payment: If the balance is not paid by the due date, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made via different platforms as specified in the booking form. All transfer fees or exchange rate differences are the responsibility of the Participant.

 

2. CANCELLATION POLICY (By the Participant)

We understand that life happens. However, because this is a group pilgrimage with pre-paid costs to hotels, transport, and vendors in India, our cancellation policy is strict.

-Cancellation before January 15th, 2026: You will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the €597 Non-Refundable Deposit.

-Cancellation between January 16th and February 15th, 2026: You will receive a 50% refund of the total trip cost (minus the deposit).

-Cancellation after February 15th, 2026: No refunds will be given. At this stage, all funds have been transferred to India to finalize arrangements.

-No-Show / Early Departure: No refunds will be given if you fail to arrive or choose to leave the retreat early for any reason.

 

3. CANCELLATION (By the Organizer)

Minimum Numbers: The pilgrimage requires a minimum number of participants to run. If this minimum is not met, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the trip. In this case, 100% of the money paid (including the deposit) will be refunded to you.

-Force Majeure: If the trip is cancelled due to "Force Majeure" (natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or border closures), the Organizer will offer a transfer to a future date or a refund minus any unrecoverable costs already paid to vendors.

-Flight Costs: The Organizer is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the Participant in preparation for the trip, including non-refundable airline tickets or visa fees. Do not book flights until the trip is confirmed

 

4. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & INSURANCE (Mandatory)

Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of return.

Visa: It is the Participant's sole responsibility to obtain a valid Indian Visa. The Organizer will provide the address of the Guesthouse for the visa application but is not responsible for visa rejections.

-Travel Insurance: Comprehensive Travel Insurance is mandatory for all participants. It must cover:

Medical emergencies and hospitalization abroad.

Emergency evacuation/repatriation.

Trip cancellation/interruption.

You may be asked to provide proof of insurance before the trip begins

 

5. HEALTH & FITNESS

Physical Ability: Participants should be in good physical health.

Mental Health: This is a spiritual immersion. If you are currently under treatment for severe mental health issues, please discuss this with the Organizer before booking.

Dietary: All food provided is vegetarian/Sattvik. Please notify us all your allergies in advance.

 

6. CODE OF CONDUCT

Ashram Rules: While in Ganesh Puri and around the Master, we observe a respectful code of conduct.

Substances: The consumption of alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and recreational drugs is strictly prohibited during the entire duration of the retreat.

Behavior: The Organizer reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the retreat (without refund) if their behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or dangerous to the group or the local culture.

 

7. LIABILITY WAIVER

The Participant acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks that may occur.

The Organizer accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or illness sustained during the trip, nor for delays or changes in the itinerary caused by circumstances beyond our control (train delays, traffic, weather).

-The Organizer acts as a mentor in this trip and also only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this itinerary.

 

8. MEDIA RELEASE

Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for future marketing purposes. By participating, you agree to your image being used. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the Organizer in writing before the trip begins.

By paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
